How we keep listings clean

Every listing on WorkJio should be real, current and from a verified employer, and no one should have to pay to be treated fairly.

   Only verified employers can post

   Every poster verifies a work email by one-time code. A UEN and a company-domain email earn the verified badge. Recruitment agencies must show their MOM employment-agency licence number.

   First listings are reviewed by a person

   A new employer’s first three listings are checked before they go live, usually within two hours.

   Every listing is scam-screened

   Deposits, “tasks”, crypto, Singpass or bank-detail requests, messaging-app-only contact and salaries far above market are blocked or held for review. The same engine powers our public scam checker.

   Fair-hiring wording is checked as you type

   Age, gender, race, religion, nationality, marital-status and appearance preferences are flagged with a suggested rewrite, following the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices.

   Two reports hide a listing

   Any two independent reports hide a listing immediately until we review it. Confirmed scam accounts are banned by UEN and email domain.

   Every application gets an answer

   Employers reply in one click. Applications untouched for 14 days are closed and the applicant is informed. Employer response rates are shown publicly.

7. 7

   No stale listings

   Every listing expires after 30 days and receives a weekly “still hiring?” check. No reply, and it is paused.

8. 8

   Your data

   Your CV, name and mobile number are shared only with the verified employers you apply to, and never sold. CVs are stored privately and deleted after 12 months unless you replace them. We never ask for NRIC copies or Singpass details.
