How WorkJio uses AI
We use AI to make job matching work better for both sides: fewer applications into silence, fewer CVs that do not fit. AI suggests; people decide. Here is exactly where it is used.
Where we use AI
- Reading your CV
- When you upload a CV or describe your work in your own words, AI fills in your profile and lays out a one-page CV. You check and edit everything before anyone sees it.
- Tagging skills and experience
- AI notes your skills, roles, languages and years of experience so we can match you to jobs. These tags never include your age, gender, race, religion, nationality or marital status.
- Matching you to jobs
- Our matching service compares your tags with what each job asks for and estimates how well you fit. It shapes the order of search results, “Strong match for you”, and your recommendations. It never receives your name or contact details.
- Helping employers sort applicants
- Employers see a fit estimate with the reasons behind it, as a guide. The AI never rejects anyone: every application reaches the employer, and the employer decides.
- Checking listings
- Rules and AI flag scam patterns and unfair wording (age, gender, race and so on) and suggest a fairer rewrite. The employer chooses what to publish, and a new employer’s first listings are checked by a person.
- Tidying imported jobs
- Jobs from companies’ own careers pages are rewritten into the same clear layout. Any detail not in the company’s own ad is removed, so nothing is made up.
- Translating
- Chinese versions of jobs and pages are machine-translated from the English.
- Finding job fairs
- AI drafts upcoming fairs from organisers’ own pages. A person checks each one against the organiser’s page before it is published.
- Jio, our assistant
- Jio sends job alerts and reminders. Jio is automated and never pretends to be a person.
What our AI never does
- Decide who gets hired, or reject an application on its own.
- Use or guess your age, gender, race, religion, nationality or marital status.
- Send your name or contact details to the matching service.
- Message you pretending to be a person, or ask for payment, your Singpass password or bank details.
- Sell your data.
You stay in charge
- Edit your profile any time on My profile: what you change is what we match on.
- Delete your account and your CV from the same page.
