About the role

This role sits within Group Audit at a long-established Singapore bank, supporting the Professional Practices and Governance team. You will help advance audit standards, governance and risk practices while working alongside stakeholders across the division. It suits someone with internal audit experience who enjoys analysis, reporting and driving improvements.

What you'll do

Support the PPG team in advancing Group Audit's mission and vision
Promote alignment of audit structure, strategy and resourcing with Group objectives and governance expectations
Support the advancement of audit standards, regulatory frameworks and governance expectations
Collaborate with stakeholders within Group Audit to develop practical solutions for division-specific risks

Support special projects aligned with Group Audit priorities

Monitor measurable KPIs for audit teams to achieve divisional goals

Model the bank's desired behaviours and champion a prudent risk and compliance culture

Partner with the Group Audit Data Analytics specialist to provide analytics support using tools such as Power BI

Monitor audit plan execution and delivery timelines, reporting progress and outcomes

Manage oversight of outstanding audit issues, including status monitoring, trend analysis and regular reporting

Prepare ad-hoc analyses and management information for the Group Audit Leadership Team

Support Group Audit's business management and operating rhythm, including divisional operations, internal communications, branding and staff engagement

Coordinate control, risk and compliance partner activities, including data protection, operational risk and attestations

Support Group Audit's budget and financial planning activities, including the annual operating plan and tracking of travel and training spend

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in financial services internal audit
Preferably experienced in audit methodology, quality assurance, risk assessment, planning and governance reporting
Able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Good writing skills with a track record of clear, concise and organised write-ups
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking and time management skills
