Executive / Senior Engineer, Civil, Architecture & PWAY Engineering

About the role

You will improve the safety and reliability of railway infrastructure such as tracks, third rails, points, viaducts, tunnels, stations and depots. Your work includes defect troubleshooting, failure analysis, reliability trending, engineering studies, maintenance and renewal planning, and asset management planning. You will also manage contractors and stakeholders to meet operating and quality standards, and may conduct training and develop training materials. The role involves working in SMRT depots, tracks or facilities, and may require rotating or fixed shifts. You will support daily, short-term and long-term objectives and KPIs, and work with operations and maintenance staff from the lines and other departments.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working hands-on in office and site environments
• Able to work different shift timings when required
• Adept with diagnostics and reliability engineering methods such as FMECA, Fault Tree analysis, Weibull analysis and Damage Tolerance Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
