About the role

A private banking compliance role supporting Relationship Managers with periodic KYC reviews. You will review and enhance existing KYC profiles, verify client information and prepare clear narratives covering Source of Wealth and Source of Funds. It suits someone with private banking KYC or front advisory experience who is analytical, organised and comfortable working closely with front office staff.

What you'll do

Review and uplift existing KYC profiles to meet enhanced regulatory and internal policy requirements
Work with Relationship Managers to prepare comprehensive KYC files and narratives for periodic reviews
Review updated Source of Wealth documentation and KYC corroboration provided by the front office
Articulate Source of Wealth and Source of Funds summaries with clear justifications, plausibility assessments and traceability

Conduct Source of Wealth plausibility assessments and benchmarking, including review of transactional behaviour and validation of name screening results

Give feedback to Relationship Managers by email or in person and help draft client Source of Wealth narratives

Review client structures such as individuals, companies, trusts and foundations and check documentation completeness against local regulations

Identify and escalate new risk indicators or unusual transaction patterns found during reviews

Maintain clear documentation of review rationale and decisions

Complete assigned cases on time and to quality standards, and support periodic reporting and status updates for internal governance

Advise front office employees on KYC and CDD matters

Suggest procedural improvements by identifying recurring gaps

Ensure KYC and CDD issues are identified, assessed and documented, and that mitigating measures and timely escalation to Compliance are in place where measures cannot be completed
