The Lead Cost Engineer will lead independent cost management for a multi-billion-dollar renewable energy and transmission project. The role covers estimating, cost control, forecasting, earned value, contingency management, and cost assurance. You will act on behalf of the Owner through the PMC, verifying and challenging contractor cost information across multiple EPC/EPCI contractors and suppliers. Responsibilities include maintaining cost breakdown structures, monitoring budgets and commitments, assessing variations and claims, and preparing monthly cost reports and forecasts. You will also support cash flow forecasting, risk and trend management, and cost reporting to project leadership and steering committees.
