About the role

This role sits within a rail cybersecurity team and acts as the internal authority on AI security. You will guide project and engineering teams on securing AI systems across the full development lifecycle, working inside an Operational Technology rail environment. It suits an experienced AI security specialist who is comfortable advising both technical and non-technical stakeholders and is open to learning OT constraints.

What you'll do

Act as the internal subject matter expert on AI security across the railway domain
Advise project and engineering teams on secure AI design, implementation and deployment throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

Knowledge in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
At least 3–5 years of relevant AI security experience with exposure to AI or machine learning systems
Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts and related security risks such as model poisoning, adversarial attacks, data integrity, model inversion and inference attacks
Familiarity with the AI/ML development lifecycle and where security fits at each stage
Knowledge of AI security frameworks and standards such as MITRE ATLAS, OWASP ML Security Top 10 and NIST AI RMF
Ability to review technical submissions and give clear, actionable security guidance
