You will supervise daily lab operations, manage and train laboratory staff, and ensure testing and documentation meet GMP and regulatory standards. Conduct routine laboratory shopfloor checks to identify improvements
Ensure accurate and timely testing of received samples
Review and approve laboratory test results and reports
Apply maintenance, qualification and calibration plans to laboratory equipment
Keep lab facilities and instruments in a quality and safe state
Lead the quality control sample management process to meet standard times
Ensure sampling and sample management comply with regulatory and company standards
Handle sample flows from sampling to receiving and dispatch, including stability and EM samples
Manage reference standards and reagents for stock, storage and validity
Manage retention samples throughout their lifecycle in line with regulations
Ensure training management of quality control samplers or warehouse and manufacturing samplers when delegated
Coordinate external and cross-site testing, including sample flows and results reports
Investigate and resolve quality control events, issues and discrepancies, and implement CAPAs
Support regulatory inspections and audits by presenting stability program and records
Represent the site in microbiology areas and CoP led by global, and participate in CoE if requested
Lead the microbiology section in implementing QC systems, from equipment evaluation and selection to purchase
Drive equipment qualification activities and ensure consumables and reagents are purchased on time
Develop, improve and maintain microbiological test methods
Identify, evaluate, initiate, monitor and conclude operational excellence initiatives in microbiological procedures
Write investigation reports for Initial Laboratory Investigation for OOT and OOS and deviations
Lead investigations related to microbiological testing, including product testing, environmental monitoring and water testing
Contribute to the Annual Product Quality Review Report and prepare environmental monitoring and water testing trend results
Maintain specifications, lab methods, standard operating procedures and other GMP documents
Conduct training on sampling and microbiological testing for chemical technicians and lab analysts
Ensure workplace risk as Requirements Degree in microbiology or a related scientific discipline At least 5 years of hands-on laboratory experience At least 2 years in a supervisory role Able to adopt a hands-on troubleshooting style Good knowledge of FDA regulations and cGMP Good presentation skills Apply on the company website
