Senior Accounts Officer, General Ledger/Fixed Assets

About the role

Support the Finance team in day-to-day General Ledger and Fixed Assets functions. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments and month-end adjustments, and complete month-end closing tasks on time. Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate differences and follow up on outstanding items. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation and capitalisation. Support audit, tax, statutory reporting and XBRL filing, and work with internal stakeholders on accounting matters and process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline
• Relevant experience in General Ledger and/or Fixed Assets accounting
• Basic knowledge of SFRS and accounting principles
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
