About the role
This role sits within the Visa Direct team, supporting regional ecosystem enablement and expansion across Asia Pacific. You will focus on issuer optimisation, ecosystem readiness and delivery of strategic projects, working with issuers, partners and internal teams. It suits someone with deep payments experience who can resolve friction points and drive cross-functional initiatives.
What you'll do
Support delivery of the regional Visa Direct ecosystem strategy across issuers, acquirers, enablers, processors and partners
Lead and support issuer optimisation work to improve authorisation performance, approval rates, acceptance quality, data integrity, fraud outcomes and operational reliability
Work with internal and external stakeholders on market expansion, cross-border corridor activation and readiness for priority use cases
Manage issuer and partner readiness across the portfolio, covering onboarding, activation, performance monitoring and issue resolution
Drive ecosystem projects covering issuer enablement, scalability, acceptance improvement, efficiency, compliance readiness and new capability deployment
Act as a subject matter expert on technical, operational, product and compliance requirements for issuers, clients and partners
Support ecosystem readiness in line with Visa rules, product requirements, network standards, regulatory expectations and internal governance
Assess the impact of policy, rule, product and regulatory changes and coordinate compliant solutions across participants
Monitor ecosystem performance including approval rates, decline trends, fraud and risk metrics, data integrity and transaction quality
Identify performance gaps, develop action plans and work with cross-functional teams to drive measurable improvements
Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement to lift execution, acceptance quality, efficiency and partner experience
Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards and KPIs to track issuer performance, ecosystem readiness, optimisation progress and compliance status
Collaborate with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Client Services, Licensing, Commercialization and regional market teams
Support governance routines, business reviews and executive updates on issuer optimisation, ecosystem performance and project delivery

Requirements
At least 10 years of experience in payment services product management, solution development or process consulting
Deep expertise in the payments industry, digital money movement and ecosystem-based payment models
Strong understanding of issuer processing, card-based flows, push-to-wallet and push-to-account flows, and domestic and cross-border money movement
Knowledge of issuer performance drivers such as approval rates, decline management, fraud and risk controls, transaction data quality and scheme requirements
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting issuer optimisation, ecosystem enablement, performance improvement or payment acceptance initiatives
Experience contributing to strategic ecosystem projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders
