About the role

This is a two-year contract teaching position in the School of Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Clementi campus. You will teach and develop modules in areas such as Advanced Manufacturing, Smart Factory Systems, Mobility Systems Design, Thermofluids or Systems Engineering, and work closely with industry. It suits mechanical or systems engineering professionals with solid industry experience who enjoy teaching and mentoring students.

What you'll do

Develop curriculum and facilitate student learning
Conduct assessments for assigned modules
Handle administrative duties related to course management
Identify and pursue new industry opportunities and collaborations
Take part in industry or consultancy projects to keep your professional knowledge current
Mentor and guide students, supporting their development and a positive learning environment

Based at the Clementi campus

Requirements

Relevant Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering qualification
At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-driven and able to work independently and in a team
Passion for education and interest in teaching and mentoring students
