About the role
This internship sits with the Regional Disaster Recovery team inside Group Technology Services, part of OCBC's Group Operations & Technology division in Singapore. You will help strengthen the resilience of the bank's technology infrastructure while picking up enterprise disaster recovery practices. It suits an analytical undergraduate who likes working with data, spotting trends and improving processes.
What you'll do
- Combine incident management data with disaster recovery exercise results to carry out trend and gap analysis
- Help build and improve centralised dashboards covering recovery readiness, metrics and testing outcomes
- Analyse and visualise data to produce insights for resilience and decision-making
- Help create and maintain the Disaster Recovery Book of Work, Operations Manual and Confluence repositories
- Support knowledge management so documentation stays complete, accurate and sustainable
- Review and streamline disaster recovery checklists for consistency and effectiveness
- Support automation work that improves efficiency and shortens recovery time
- Work with technology teams on ongoing readiness and continuous improvement
- Take on other projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in data-driven decisions
- Basic understanding of data analytics, trend analysis and data visualisation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Basic scripting experience in Python, Bash/Shell or Java
- Familiarity with databases and SQL is advantageous
