About the role
This locum role involves delivering occupational therapy to patients within a multidisciplinary care team, helping them recover and teaching their caregivers about conditions and care. You may also take charge of a team, building its capabilities and allocating work. It suits registered therapists who can work independently and as part of a group.
What you'll do
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients to support their recovery
- Educate caregivers about the patient's condition and care
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality and cost-efficient care
- Manage a team and be responsible for developing its competencies
- Distribute workload across the team

Requirements
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy (A-level entry, accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy), or Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Therapy
- For Senior Occupational Therapist: at least 4 years as an Occupational Therapist, including 1 year of supervisory experience
- For Occupational Therapist: at least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
- Able to work well independently and in groups
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
