About the role
This internship sits with the procurement team at Sanofi's Tuas site, a highly automated biopharma facility. You will help with day-to-day procurement operations, vendor management and sourcing work while learning from experienced professionals. It suits polytechnic or university students who are organised, detail-oriented and keen on supply chain or business work.
What you'll do
Help the Procurement Site Lead consolidate, prioritise and create value from third party spend at the Tuas site
Work with the Key Supplier Operational Leader, Finance, Supply Chain and Global Lead Buyers
Support vendor management, including keeping supplier databases and tracking vendor performance
Lead and attend internal and vendor meetings for Procurement when the Site Lead is away
Do online research and supplier evaluations to support sourcing decisions and find new vendors
Help prepare procurement reports, dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders
Give administrative support such as arranging vendor interactions, writing meeting minutes and updating procurement trackers

Requirements
Degree or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
Previous internship or work experience in any field
Open to polytechnic or university programme candidates
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI and data analysis
Basic knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain concepts or sourcing strategies is preferred
Familiarity with procurement systems or ERP software such as SAP, Ariba or Oracle is preferred
