About the role
Teach an introductory undergraduate studio course on interaction design at NTU's School of Art, Design, and Media. Guide students through the fundamentals of how input, process, and output combine to form interactive systems across art, media, and product design. Run hands-on exercises and studio projects covering sensing, systems thinking, and creative technologies such as Arduino, sensors, TouchDesigner, and introductory Python. Support students in moving from observation and research to prototyping and presentation, developing both technical skill and critical awareness. The course commences in January 2027.
Requirements
Master's and/or Ph.D. in Interaction Design, Creative Technologies, Media Arts, Product Design, Design Engineering, Digital Media or related field
Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred
Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience in interactive systems or creative technology may be considered in exceptional cases
