About the role
This role is based at a hotel in Marina View and focuses on driving sales opportunities while building lasting customer relationships. You will work with both on-property and off-property teams to coordinate sales efforts and achieve revenue goals. It suits someone with a background in sales or marketing who enjoys a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What you'll do
Work with off-property sales channels to keep efforts aligned and avoid duplication.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
Develop community relationships to expand the customer base.
Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide accurate and timely handover to Event Management.
Join sales calls with team members to win new business or close deals.
Handle operational tasks for booked business, such as proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence.
Identify new business to meet personal and location revenue targets.
Understand the market, including competitors, economic trends, and supply and demand, and use that knowledge to sell effectively.
Close the best opportunities based on market conditions and location needs.
Understand the primary target customer and their service expectations to offer better solutions.
Support the company's service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty.
Service customers to grow account share.
Follow the company's customer service standards.
Deliver excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics.
Set a positive example for guest relations.
Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.

Requirements
2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years of sales and marketing experience, OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in a related major with 1 year of sales and marketing experience
