About the role
A 12-month contract role with a private bank's Global Products & Solution platform, supporting Run-the-Bank activities for Credit Availability Check across lending, structured products, equities, fixed income and derivatives. You will translate business needs into practical technology solutions, working closely with the Product Owner of the Global Lending Platform. It suits an experienced analyst who is comfortable bridging business and technology teams in a regulated banking environment.
What you'll do
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business requirements aligned to strategic objectives

Review existing processes for gaps, inefficiencies and risks, and recommend measurable improvements for Run-the-Bank activities
Produce delivery artefacts such as business requirement documents, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria and decision logs
Challenge requirements, evaluate solution options and help stakeholders decide on scope, priorities and outcomes
Document end-to-end user journeys and workflows for architecture, product owner and development teams
Maintain requirements traceability and manage controlled change from discovery to delivery
Analyse system interfaces, payloads and data exchanges, documenting field-level mappings and dependencies
Review database schemas, table structures, relationships and usage patterns for impact assessments and solution design
Model integrated workflows covering user interfaces, APIs, backend services and databases
Define solution specifications including functional designs, interface contracts and non-functional requirements
Develop solution artefacts such as requirement specifications, test strategies, end-to-end test cases, architectural blueprints and implementation roadmaps
Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects and Development Teams on technical feasibility, scalability and enterprise architecture
Support change management, release planning and compliance with firm-wide risk and regulatory standards
Meet legal, regulatory and compliance standards and follow relevant user manuals and guidelines
Contribute to long-term software strategy and engineering culture within GPS

Based in Singapore, full time
Global, matrixed team structure spanning Front Office, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Risk
Requirements
At least 7 years in business analysis, systems analysis or a similar IT role tied to credit risk, ideally in private banking or wealth management
Excellent spoken and written English; other languages are an advantage
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, preferably within an Agile/Scrum framework
Exposure to the T24 core banking system is an advantage
SQL skills for data extraction, validation and analysis, including querying schemas and table relationships
Able to work autonomously and proactively in a global, matrixed team
