About the role

This is a six-month contract role in the Finance Division of an aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company. Reporting to the Projects & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will help ensure divisional projects align with company-wide improvement initiatives and the Finance Division roadmap. It suits someone with an IT or related qualification and a few years of relevant experience who enjoys both hands-on IT support and process improvement work.

What you'll do

Set up hardware and software, helping with installation and deployment of laptops, printers and other IT equipment, and resolve issues users encounter

Act as the point of contact between the company's IT departments and the business divisions

Support and coordinate IT-related administrative matters for the Division

Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights across various systems and applications

Ensure staff on-boarding and offboarding processes run efficiently

Conduct regular reviews of user access and controls

Support annual disaster recovery exercises

Initiate, support and monitor systems and continuous improvement projects for the Division, keeping them aligned with company-wide initiatives and the Finance Division roadmap

Coordinate digitalisation projects through process simplification, introducing concepts such as report automation and process automation like RPA

Engage key finance business stakeholders, gather requirements and translate them into tender or user requirements specifications

Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned by management

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in system design and analysis is an advantage
Background in Agile or Scrum Master practices and stakeholder management experience is preferred
Working experience with SAP products is good to have
Good communication, problem solving and project management skills
