About the role

This contract role sits in the Credit Card billing, refund and accounting unit of the SIA Finance Division, where you will look after your own portfolio of transactions across the various card brands and payment gateways. You will work alongside three other Analysts, each handling a separate set of accounts, and the position runs until December 2027. It suits a driven, task-oriented finance professional who is comfortable with reconciliation work and keen to get involved in system and process projects.

What you'll do

Process credit card billings and refunds for tickets and other accountable documents accurately and on time

Handle, investigate and resolve card retrieval requests and chargeback disputes with acquiring banks and card companies within set timelines

Reconcile billings and refunds against settlements so that card-related general ledger accounts can be cleared

Manage staff and work position

Review work procedures, controls and practices in the section, and keep the documentation complete and current

Take part in or manage projects affecting the Passenger Revenue Control department, including card billing and settlement reconciliation, fraud mitigation and recovery of revenue leakages from ticket sales and refunds

Support Request For Proposals and contract review with the Commercial and Legal team when appointing payment service providers and card or alternate payment method acquirers

Address revenue leakages caused by system anomalies

Reduce revenue leakages from gaps in the payment process flow, and where losses cannot be avoided, report and write them off according to company policy

Guide stations on matters within your charge and respond to queries from internal and external auditors

Requirements

University degree in accounting or business administration
Accounts Receivable and General Ledger experience is an advantage
Airline or payments industry experience or knowledge is an advantage
Knowledge of AI and automation tools is an advantage
Driven and shows initiative
