About the role
This role sits within Citi's Wealth Control organisation, specifically the Global Investment Solution Risk Assessment and Control Design team, based in Singapore. You will report to the Asia Investment Solution Risk Assessment and Control Design Head and work closely with first and second line teams across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Private Bank to manage regulatory risks end to end. It suits an experienced risk and control professional who can influence stakeholders and drive control enhancements across investment products.
What you'll do
Partner with Investment Products teams across Capital Markets to spot process risks, assess control adequacy, and strengthen controls where needed.
Work with Control Owners to map key inherent risks and controls into the Control Inventory, ensuring effective monitoring under the MCA framework.
Review issues from escalations, customer complaints, operational losses, and internal or external reviews, then lead remediation with the Investment Solution Team.
Support business reviews of Product Programs and Desktop Procedures to identify risks, reinforce controls, and embed sustainable monitoring.
Act as Accountable Functional Reviewer for new products and processes, checking that effective controls and risk stripes are in place.
Collaborate with Sales & Advisory and Investment Product teams to maintain the regulatory inventory linkage in Citi's systems for the Manager's Control Assessment program.
Lead audit readiness engagement with Product, including targeted reviews and coordination with Internal Audit and Compliance Assurance.
Assess control effectiveness through horizontal process reviews and lessons learned from internal or industry events, then develop corrective action plans with the business.
Work with the business to identify and manage regulatory adherence risks from strategy changes, new products, regulatory updates, or business-led changes.
Build relationships with Business, Operations & Technology, and second and third line partners to reduce regulatory risk, including automating controls and digitising monitoring with subject matter experts.
Engage stakeholders to design Issues and Corrective Action Plans with control owners, oversee timely completion, and work with the ICQ team to confirm effective closure.

Requirements
University graduate
At least 8-10 years of experience
Strong strategic, analytical, and product management skills
3-4 years of exposure to Risk, Control, Audit, or Compliance roles
