About the role

This role supports the Banquet Manager in running banquet operations at Hilton Singapore Orchard, a full-service hotel. You will lead service delivery during events, coordinate with other hotel departments, and help manage and develop the banquet team. It suits someone with supervisory experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel who enjoys fast-paced event work.

Oversee daily banquet operations and lead the team during peak events to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.

Work with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering and Front Office teams on event handovers and logistics.

Handle guest feedback, put service improvements in place, and keep to workplace safety and hygiene standards.

Prepare team schedules, assign daily duties, and forecast manpower based on event volumes and hotel occupancy.

Run department orientation, assess skills against Hilton standards, and lead ongoing training.

Support selection interviews, conduct annual performance appraisals, and build a collaborative team environment.

Identify potential sales leads and promote hotel services and packages.

Assist the Banquet Manager with revenue forecasting, cost controls, and departmental budget alignment.

Lead shift briefings and team meetings to align operational targets with property and brand goals.

Requirements

2-4 years in a managerial position in a 4 or 5-star hotel
Good written and verbal English
Familiar with computer systems
Motivated and committed, eager to learn
