About the role

This role supports integrated facilities maintenance for MRT structures and equipment, covering preventive and corrective maintenance as well as fault attendance. You will lead a team and coordinate with contractors, working to quality and safety standards. It suits someone with an engineering diploma who is organised, self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and in a team.

What you'll do

Lead a team on routine inspections of MRT structures such as stations, depots, viaducts and tunnels
Lead a team on preventive and corrective maintenance, including concrete repair, leakage repair, plumbing servicing and scaffolding erection
Arrange, coordinate and supervise outsourced maintenance work by contractors

Attend to faults and complaints, investigate and carry out rectification

Act as track Person-In-Charge and Possession Master to keep work parties on MRT tracks safe

Record maintenance work on paper and in computer systems such as SAP or Maximo

Attend inspections for taking over new buildings and infrastructure

Drive vehicles and operate specialised vehicles such as boom lifts

Take custody of tools and equipment

Requirements

Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution
Relevant work experience
Class 3 driving licence
Self-motivated, resourceful, positive and organised
Able to work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
