Assistant Engineer / Technical Executive

About the role

You will support the Building Manager in the daily operations and maintenance of building facilities and infrastructure. This includes monitoring building services such as cleaning, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security and fire protection systems, and supporting preventive maintenance programmes. You will conduct routine inspections, identify defects or faults, and initiate rectification works. You will also coordinate with contractors, record fault reports and service requests, and ensure works are completed on time and comply with safety regulations. Documentation such as inspection records, monthly reports and asset registers will be part of your duties.

Requirements

• Experience in building facilities operations and maintenance
• Knowledge of building services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
• Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
• Able to coordinate and supervise contractors
