Assistant Facilities Manager

About the role

Oversee day-to-day facility operations and maintenance to ensure the site runs smoothly and safely. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for critical equipment and systems. Implement health, safety and environment policies, conduct audits and drills. Handle vendor relationships, contracts and performance. Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, and lead the facilities team and contractors. Also manage workplace events from planning to post-event evaluation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years supervisory or junior leadership experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Management or related field
• Minimum Diploma in Facilities Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• Strong operational mindset
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
