About the role
This role sits within the Digital, Data & Technology function at Tengah General and Community Hospital, a new health campus in Tengah Forest Town that is part of the National University Health System and is slated to open in the early 2030s. You will build the enterprise data and analytics layer that underpins the hospital's Enterprise Planning Platform and future operational intelligence, connecting data across demand, capacity, workforce, finance and operations. It suits someone with a few years of analytics experience who enjoys turning complex, multi-source data into practical insights that guide planning and decision-making.
What you'll do
Identify, acquire, consolidate and manage data from sources such as MOH and GCCP planning datasets, national census and demographic data, operational activity and utilisation data, workforce and HR data, financial data, and service, infrastructure and capacity planning data.

Turn disparate sources into structured, documented and reusable enterprise planning datasets, and support data governance, quality assurance, validation and version control.
Carry out analyses for demand forecasting, service planning, capacity planning, workforce planning and financial planning, and translate complex datasets into insights for strategic and operational decisions.
Help develop planning assumptions, scenario analyses and forecasting exercises, and assess the implications of demand changes, service redesign, policy shifts and operational strategies.
Design, build and maintain dashboards and visual analytics products for demand monitoring, capacity planning, workforce tracking, financial planning, operational readiness and enterprise performance monitoring.
Support the Enterprise Planning Platform by preparing, structuring and maintaining the underlying data layer, integrating new data sources and developing analytical models and data structures for planning use cases.
Support AI-enabled analytics and decision-support capabilities, exploring Generative AI, predictive analytics and machine learning, natural language query and search, retrieval-augmented workflows, process mining and pattern detection, and scenario modelling and simulation.
Support analytics for hospital commissioning, service activation and ramp-up planning, including workforce ramp-up, capacity monitoring and benefits realisation.
Work with stakeholders across Enterprise Strategy & Planning, Clinical Services, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, IT and Digital teams, as well as cluster and system-level planning partners.
Present analytical findings clearly and practically, bridging business questions, data requirements and technology solutions.

Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Assistant Manager level.
Requirements
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research or a related discipline
3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, planning analytics, data integration or related disciplines
Experience working with large, complex or multi-source datasets
Strong SQL skills for querying, joining and managing datasets
Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or equivalent data visualisation platforms
Working knowledge of Python, R or equivalent analytical tools
