About the role

This role supports facilities management at the Institute for Adult Learning, an autonomous institute of the Singapore University of Social Sciences. You will work with internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers to keep IAL's premises well maintained and operationally ready. It suits someone with a few years of relevant experience who can work independently and take initiative.

What you'll do

Coordinate facilities matters within IAL's premises, including preventive and corrective maintenance, with building management and service vendors
Oversee the upkeep and readiness of training rooms and workplace facilities for programmes and daily operations
Manage facilities-related contracts and supervise outsourced service providers to meet service standards
Coordinate renovation, upgrading and improvement works within the premises
Oversee premises security arrangements and related systems such as CCTV and access control
Manage facilities-related budgets and expenses for cost-effective operations
Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for facilities management and service delivery
Support Business Continuity Management initiatives by coordinating facilities preparedness and response for disruptions or emergencies
Monitor vendor performance and service delivery while ensuring compliance with safety, health and regulatory requirements
Undertake other duties, including cross-divisional projects, as assigned by Management
