About the role

This role sits in the Finance Department supporting Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (MPACT), covering a portfolio of consolidation and reporting duties. It suits a qualified accountant with several years of experience, including some time leading a team, who is comfortable working independently in a fast-moving setting.

What you'll do

Make sure month end closing, intercompany reconciliation and monthly management reporting are completed on time.
Assist with monthly and quarterly management reporting, and analyse monthly, quarterly and year-to-date financial performance together with the internal asset management team.

Prepare a full set of financial statements on time for group reporting and statutory audit, and run the audit process including working with auditors.

Manage tax matters such as preparing tax computations, working with tax consultants on computation and filing submissions, and responding to queries from consultants or authorities.

Drive the rollout of group policies, processes and systems.

Take on other ad-hoc projects when needed.

Frequent liaison with inter-department teams, property accountants and auditors.

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA) with an Accountancy degree from a recognised university or equivalent
At least 5 to 6 years of relevant and/or auditing experience
At least 2 years in a managerial capacity
Well-versed in Local GAAP and IFRS
Hands-on finance operations experience and good accounting knowledge
Responsible, assertive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
