About the role

This role sits within the Finance function and focuses on Point of Sales and payment modes operations. You will lead a small team, handle operational issues, and work with internal colleagues and external partners such as collecting agents, banks, and payment providers. It suits someone with payment or finance operations experience who enjoys improving processes and driving automation.

What you'll do

Manage end-to-end POS and payment operations, covering validation, reconciliation, settlement, and exception handling
Monitor and strengthen internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation
Resolve issues across POS systems, payment gateways, and related platforms with IS and product owners
Work with external collecting agents, banks, and payment service providers on operations, settlements, and issue resolution

Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and cost-saving initiatives to reduce manual work, errors, and transaction costs

Partner with stakeholders such as IS, product owners, and finance teams to ensure accurate data flow and recommend operational efficiencies

Provide insights to improve efficiency, customer experience, and support digital and technology initiatives

Lead, coach, and develop team members to build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Balance BAU operations with issue resolution and improvement projects, using resources effectively

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
4–6 years of relevant payment or finance operations experience
1–2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of POS systems, payment modes such as cards, GIRO, PayNow, and collecting agents, reconciliations, and controls
Experience in process improvement, automation, or cost optimization projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions
