Assistant Manager, Land Management (Environmental Team)

About the role

You will support Singapore's land management and environmental goals by helping develop environmental policies, frameworks and standards. You will lead and manage environmental projects such as soil and groundwater assessment and remediation. You will also develop and maintain a database of environmental quality data for land planning, maintenance and regulation. You will work with government agencies, industry partners, consultants and other stakeholders, prepare tender documents and manage procurement, and handle project finances including budget tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• Background in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline
• Able to work independently and as a team player
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in environmental assessment, soil and groundwater investigations or related work is an advantage
• Project management experience is encouraged
