Assistant Manager / Manager, Admitting Operations

About the role

You will assist the Head of Cardiac Clinics in managing the daily operations of outpatient admitting services. You will be involved in strategic planning, developing admission and financial counselling processes, and ensuring smooth patient admissions. You will also prepare and monitor budgets, manage manpower resources, handle service recovery, and oversee improvement projects. Additionally, you will represent the department at cluster meetings and coordinate cross-functional activities related to system enhancements.

Requirements

• Degree with at least 3 years' working experience
• Preferably experience in managing admitting services in healthcare
• Healthcare and staff management experience an advantage
• Knowledge in design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption or process methodologies preferred
• Results-oriented self-starter with strong analytical, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
• Able to exercise initiative, multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
