Associate Director – Data Centre New Build PMC

About the role

You will manage the commercial, contractual and technical delivery of a data centre new build project, linking client strategy with site operations. You will lead the PMC team day to day to keep scope, budget, quality and safety on track. Duties include overseeing project administration and construction milestones, administering main contractor agreements, change management, progress claims and variations. You will also manage procurement for trade packages and long-lead critical equipment, coordinate authority submissions and approvals, and align design between consultants, QPs and contractors. You will work with the Sustainability Manager to meet Green Mark for Data Centres Platinum requirements.

Requirements

• 12+ years of project management experience in building construction
• At least 5+ years managing data centre or critical infrastructure new builds within a consultancy
• Strong understanding of data centre typologies, electrical redundancy configurations (N+1, 2N, Block Redundant) and mechanical cooling systems
• Knowledge of construction sequencing from CSA milestones to MEP fit-outs
• Expert in Smartsheet, Procore and ACC
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
