Associate Director, Mechanical (Data Centers)

About the role

You will lead mechanical design delivery for data centre projects, acting as a recognised technical expert and ensuring outputs meet client needs. You will define project objectives and deliverables, organise schedules and resources, and apply strong engineering judgement to maintain high quality standards. You will also strengthen client partnerships by understanding their business and responding proactively to their requirements. The role includes leading sector growth activities such as bid and proposal development and thought leadership contributions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering electrical engineering projects within data centres and mission critical environments
• Proven capability in work winning and commercial acumen, including managing project teams, budgets, schedules and quality
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical design and engineering practices for data centres
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) certification
