About the role

This is a traineeship under the GRIT programme run by Workforce Singapore, based with Singtel Networks, a major telecoms infrastructure provider in Singapore. It suits fresh graduates with no prior work experience who want hands-on exposure to fibre network documentation and GIS work. You will join a team supporting telecommunications infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

Update and maintain fibre network records, as-built drawings and GIS data for telecoms infrastructure projects
Support updates to fibre routing, joint closures, pipe and duct layouts and geospatial information
Keep infrastructure records accurate, consistent and aligned with engineering and project needs

Assist engineers in verifying installation records and resolving drawing discrepancies

Maintain organised, traceable records while building practical GIS and telecoms infrastructure experience

Full-time commitment required

Requirements

Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from a university, polytechnic, ITE or other educational institution, or graduated earlier and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026
No prior working experience
Able to commit to a full-time traineeship
