Join a lean, high-impact AI and Digital team within a large real estate group, where you will help turn business needs into working software, analytics, automation and AI-enabled products. This hands-on internship suits students who enjoy building, testing ideas with users and moving prototypes towards secure, maintainable deployment. You will gain exposure to enterprise platforms, data integration, governance and modern engineering practices in a real estate development setting.
What you'll do
Design, prototype and develop AI and digital products that address defined business needs
Write maintainable code mainly in Python, and where relevant JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL or approved low-code tools
Develop AI and LLM capabilities such as retrieval-augmented generation, prompt workflows, evaluations and guardrails with team guidance

Prepare structured and unstructured data and support model development, evaluation and performance improvement
Support end-to-end delivery from requirements and solution design through development, integration, testing, deployment and iteration
Connect approved data sources, applications and internal workflows using enterprise data and APIs with platform team support
Build dashboards and automation using tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services
Help investigate reliability, latency, logging, monitoring and cost considerations to improve solution performance
Apply engineering practices including version control, branching, code review, automated testing, CI/CD and clear documentation
Follow secure development, data classification, privacy, access control and approved technology requirements
Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documentation, testing evidence and risk information for governance reviews and ARB submissions
Research tools, platforms and APIs and contribute evidence to build-vs-buy-vs-leverage assessments
Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, prototypes and technical tasks with analysts and stakeholders
Work across teams with AI & Digital colleagues, the Digital & Technology Team, data owners, users and external partners
Create reusable examples, guides and components to enable internal builders and support governed experimentation
Share progress, findings, risks and recommendations in concise business-oriented language

Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems or a related discipline
Hands-on programming experience in Python from coursework, personal projects, internships, competitions or work
Basic understanding of software development concepts such as APIs, databases, debugging, testing and documentation
Knowledge of or project experience in at least one of: data analytics, machine learning, generative AI, LLM applications, automation or web application development
Curious and structured problem-solver who learns quickly, takes ownership and seeks guidance appropriately
Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
