About the role

This role sits within the Education Development Office (Medicine) and supports residency training for junior doctors at KTPH. You will work closely with the Assistant Designated Institutional Officer, Program Director, Assistant Program Director and faculty to keep clinical education running smoothly. It suits an organised, proactive person with training administration or programme coordination experience, and fresh diploma graduates keen on training and workforce development are welcome too.

What you'll do

Provide administrative support for trainees' rotation to the hospital, on-the-job training, assessment and evaluation, and other training needs of residents and house officers

Support clinical training matters such as orientation, collation of assessment forms, tracking training hours and faculty appointments

Make sure all necessary evaluations take place and are submitted on time

Provide secretariat support for meetings with programme stakeholders

Act as the point of contact for trainee doctors and faculty

Coordinate department and hospital-wide faculty development activities and other training courses

Develop and maintain a filing system for reporting and audit purposes

Engage in process improvements to keep EDO operations running smoothly

Monitor and track resident training

Ensure management reports and KPIs reach the Director and NHG GME on time for onward submission to MOH and relevant professional bodies

Assist with administration and arrangements for various examinations

Coordinate hospital events such as CPC, visits, briefings and tutorials for medicine programmes

Plan and provide secretariat support for the KTPH EDO Department meeting and the KTPH EDO Admin Meeting

Support events management such as workshops and talks in EDO

Assist with education technology and e-learning where needed

Take part in hospital events and activities, and handle other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor

Good to know

Initial 1-year full-time contract, with possible renewal based on performance and organisational needs
Based at KTPH in Singapore

Requirements

Diploma holder
At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Healthcare background is an advantage
Positive work attitude with a can-do spirit
Able to learn quickly on the job
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
