About the role
The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at the National University of Singapore is hiring for a tenure-track faculty position in epidemiology. The role suits researchers with a doctoral degree and a strong publication record who want to build an independent research programme while teaching and supervising graduate students. Appointments are fixed contracts of up to seven years, with the aim of moving to a tenured position.
What you'll do
- Develop and establish collaborative research proposals with NUS faculty to secure extramural funding
- Contribute to the development and use of large-scale cohort studies, including the Singapore Chinese Health Study and the Multi Ethnic Cohort Study
- Conduct translational epidemiological research that informs public health interventions
