About the role
This role sits within the Research Office of the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, supporting the Tripartite Programme — a joint infectious diseases research initiative involving NHG, A*STAR and LKCMedicine. You will handle a broad range of research administrative work, from grant processes to agreements and reporting. It suits someone organised and detail-minded who enjoys coordinating across many teams.
What you'll do
Handle pre- and post-award grant administration, including grant calls, application and review support, review panel meetings, award processing, post-award requests and grant closure
Facilitate procurement and purchasing, process claims and reimbursements, close completed projects and report outcomes to stakeholders
Track grant budgets, spending and utilisation to keep within funding rules and institutional policies
Coordinate, review, track and help execute research-related agreements such as collaboration, funding, confidentiality and material transfer agreements and other project contracts
Support drafting, review, negotiation and administration of project agreements with Principal Investigators, research offices, finance, legal and external parties
Keep proper records of all research agreements and related documents, with accurate documentation, version control and compliance
Follow up on contractual obligations, milestones, deliverables, reporting, invoices, payments, renewals, amendments and agreement closure so all parties meet commitments on time
Work closely with Principal Investigators, A*STAR, LKCMedicine, research offices, legal, procurement and finance to coordinate meetings, align parties and support collaboration
Track research progress, grant deliverables, contractual milestones and KPIs across grants and projects under the programme
Review and improve research administration processes, workflows and governance to raise efficiency
Provide administrative and operational support for research meetings, events, audits and reviews
Take on other projects or tasks as assigned

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business or a related field
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience
Experience in research grants administration and project management, ideally in healthcare or research
Experience managing research agreements and contracts, including coordination, tracking and documentation
Familiarity with Singapore's biomedical research ecosystem and stakeholder landscape
Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to handle multiple priorities at once
