About the role
A Business Manager role within the Business Management team for Asia and the Middle East, part of the Global Products & Solutions organisation. You will provide business support, partner with product teams on operational and trading-related matters, and coordinate cross-functional projects. It suits someone with private banking experience who is comfortable managing senior stakeholders and driving business outcomes.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects, aligning stakeholders across functions
Support the Singapore GPS location on governance, regulatory and business responsibilities, including branch-wide initiatives
Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and work with external partners and vendors
Support strategic objectives and operational goals to drive business results
Identify and propose process improvements and workflow optimisations
Provide regular updates and insights on KPI trajectory and forecasts such as cost and financial ambitions
Oversee centralised reporting, inventory and distribution, acting as single point of contact for reports including cost and headcount budgeting, KPIs and HR matters
Support internalisation of external or contract employees end to end with business, finance and HR
Help develop and maintain cost governance frameworks such as travel frameworks, communicating and reviewing policies
Manage operational value stream ProTime tracking
Meet legal, regulatory and compliance standards and follow relevant manuals and guidelines
Demonstrate values including honesty, integrity, due care, fair dealing, conflict management, competence and risk management

Requirements
5-10 years of private banking knowledge and experience, specifically in a business management role
Relevant higher educational and professional background
Good financial analytical skills
Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and understanding of financial markets and products
Familiarity with regulatory expectations and requirements
Able to manage internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds professionally
