Casual - Education Facilitator (Museum)

About the role

Facilitate hands-on learning experiences and interactive activities at the ArtScience Laboratory, engaging visitors in conversations about art, science and technology. Guide participants through demonstrations, informal learning sessions and workshops. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for learners of all ages, adapting your facilitation style to different audiences. Assist with setup, maintenance and reset of learning stations and materials, and share information about the museum's exhibitions and educational offerings. Observe and report visitor feedback, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in the Laboratory. You may also support public programmes or museum-wide events when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE O' level
• Proficient in spoken English and confident public speaker
• Able to commit 3–4 days per week for at least 3 months
• Able to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Comfortable with extended periods of standing
