About the role

Osteria Mozza Singapore is the only Asian branch of Nancy Silverton's one-MICHELIN-starred restaurant from Los Angeles. You will be part of the kitchen team preparing and presenting dishes that match the restaurant's culinary standards and philosophy. This role suits someone with upscale dining experience who takes pride in running a section cleanly and consistently.

What you'll do

Prepare and present dishes following the Executive Chef's recipes and the restaurant's culinary philosophy.
Own an assigned section, keeping it ready and organised for smooth service at all times.
Keep mise-en-place, cleanliness and workstation organisation at a high standard.
Use strong technical skills across cooking methods such as grilling, pasta and pizza preparation, sauce work and ingredient handling.

Check that all ingredients meet quality and food safety standards.

Plan and manage ingredient needs so daily operations have enough supplies.

Monitor inventory for your section, anticipate operational needs and reduce wastage.

Keep service efficient and consistent, with attention to detail under pressure.

Follow strict hygiene, sanitation and health and safety rules set by management.

Work closely with kitchen and front of house teams to keep operations smooth and guests satisfied.

Help maintain a positive, respectful and high-performing kitchen culture.

Carry out any other duties assigned by Management.

Good to know

Shift hours, weekends and public holidays are required.

Requirements

At least 1 year of relevant experience in a quality-driven or upscale dining environment
Hands-on experience preparing Italian food and ingredients, with strong product knowledge
Proficiency in multiple cooking techniques, focused on consistency and precision
Strong organisational and time management skills, able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Positive and resilient attitude, eager to grow, adapt and thrive in a dynamic kitchen
Takes pride in keeping workspaces clean, safe and well-organised, and follows food hygiene and safety practices
