Clinical Psychologist (Psychological Medicine)

About the role

You will join a multi-disciplinary team providing psychological care to women, children and adolescents. Duties include conducting intake assessments and delivering individual and group therapy for women with emotional difficulties related to childbearing, motherhood and women's health, as well as for children and adolescents with behavioural and emotional issues. You will develop care management plans with the team and community partners, create mental health education materials, and design teaching programmes such as talks and workshops. You may work in hospital and/or community settings, with training and clinical supervision provided.

Requirements

• Masters or Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from a recognised university
• Postgraduate qualification includes placement hours and coursework for practice eligibility in the country obtained
• Eligible for registration, licence or practising certificate with a recognised psychological body such as SRP, APA, APS or BPS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in a second language
• Well-developed clinical assessment and formulation skills
