Clinician Scientist

About the role

Lead clinical translational research in one of NNI's signature neuroscience programmes, focusing on clinical and experimental diagnostics and therapeutics. Integrate clinical services with translational research and establish new research opportunities and collaborations nationally and internationally. Secure competitive research funding and contribute to neuroscience teaching and training of research staff. The role requires independent performance within the department and participation in calls.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent basic medical degree, MD/PhD or PhD
• Demonstrated track record and excellence in clinical and translational neuroscience
• International standing or reputation in a neuroscience sub-specialty, preferably neurodegenerative disorders, cerebrovascular disorders or neuroimaging
• Able to perform independently in the department
• Highly adaptive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to do calls
