About the role

This role supports the finance team at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay and Conrad Singapore Orchard, handling accounts receivable and credit tasks for both hotels. It suits someone with an accounting background who enjoys working with numbers and collaborating with different departments. You will help keep the hotels' financial records accurate and payments on track.

What you'll do

Reconcile House Account billings to the Owning Company and e-commerce platforms daily.
Reconcile Hilton Honors reimbursement invoices daily.
Reconcile travel agency commissions daily and record accruals for unbilled commissions at month-end.

Help create Group Master accounts and answer billing-related questions.

Review Group Master transactions and raise invoices for direct billing of audited banquet charges to corporate clients and guests.

Review daily Direct Bill submissions in DocMX and process them according to hotel policies.

Raise invoices for direct billing of rental and other charges to tenants and other entities.

Review and maintain the Deposit Ledger, ensuring deposits are recorded per contractual terms.

Review Credit Application Forms for new customers before passing them to the Cluster Accountant.

Organise and schedule monthly Credit Meetings and prepare minutes for review.

Finalise the AR Aging Report for review, including details of long-outstanding receivables and follow-up actions.

Prepare month-end journal entries for AR-related adjustments and accruals as needed.

Respond to queries from other departments about deposits, invoice payments and commissions.

Assist with credit card refunds through relevant portals and terminals.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Cluster Accountant and/or Assistant Financial Controller.

Good to know

Willingness to work flexible hours when required to support business operations.

Requirements

Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification
Relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit or related accounting function
Working knowledge of SUN accounting system and Microsoft Office applications
Good attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet reporting timelines in a fast-paced environment
Good written and spoken English for communicating with internal and external stakeholders
