About the role

This role supports the finance team at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, handling accounts receivable and general accounting records. It suits someone with at least a year of related finance or accounting experience who is comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and confidential information. You will help keep financial records accurate and support both the team and guests.

What you'll do

Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, accuracy and proper codes
Organise, secure and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents following policies and procedures

Record, store, access and analyse computerised financial information

Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data

Classify, code and summarise numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers and computers

Prepare, maintain and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing or payroll reports and tables

Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified

Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements

Follow company policies, keep uniform and appearance clean and professional, and protect confidential information and company assets

Address guests' service needs professionally and promptly, and communicate clearly by phone, email and written documents
