Experience Experienced About the role This senior compliance role sits within Citi's Independent Compliance Risk Management team in Singapore, supporting regulatory reporting across the business. You will act as a subject matter expert on compliance programmes and regulatory developments, working with regional and global partners. It suits an experienced compliance professional who can influence senior stakeholders and manage complex regulatory work.
What you'll do Design, develop, deliver and maintain compliance programmes, policies and practices for ICRM Translate ICRM strategy and goals across clients, products and geographies, providing direction and guidance Know someone for this? Share it
Serve as a subject matter expert on Citi's compliance programmes, giving real-time guidance on regulations
Keep up to date with changes to rules and regulations and industry news, including regulatory findings
Oversee monitoring and identification of regulatory developments such as enforcement actions and new laws
Analyse and scope the impact of new and complex regulatory developments, including cross-border impact
Advise ICRM and business management on regulatory and compliance issues, providing credible challenge
Participate in industry groups, trade association working groups and other forums
Lead initiatives and manage high-impact special project work streams, including implementing new regulatory requirements
Manage strategy and responses to regulatory examinations, reviews, inquiries and investigations, as well as testing and audit
Design and lead compliance and control reviews
Partner with other ICRM teams and global functions such as Legal, Risk, Operations, Technology and Finance to prevent and detect non-compliance
Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding the firm's reputation and escalating control issues with transparency
