About the role

This role involves carrying out polishing, restoration and blending work on assigned parts at an aerospace engine component MRO facility in Singapore. You will follow established operating procedures and flag any discrepancies or irregularities to the Facilitator or Engineer so problems get resolved and daily and weekly output targets are met. It suits someone with hands-on mechanical aptitude who is comfortable working to tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

Perform hand blending and polishing operations on assigned parts
Self-inspect blended parts against tolerance and specifications
Read and correctly interpret operation sheets and work to the expected requirements

Requirements

Minimum GCE 'O' level with 3 years of relevant experience, or a NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Precision Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical, Precision or Manufacturing Engineering
Able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English
Capable of performing hand blending and polishing operations
Able to self-inspect blended parts
Able to interpret operation sheets accurately
Able to conduct scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks
