About the role

You will carry out non-destructive testing and related tasks at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore, a large engine component MRO site. The role follows written instructions and calibration requirements, and suits someone with NDT or quality inspection background who is comfortable with inspection equipment and procedures.

What you'll do

Perform specific calibrations, NDT and evaluations to accept or reject parts
Interpret inspection operation sheets and work instructions correctly
Organise, sort and prepare parts for NDT inspection
Load, unload and operate the real-time XR, UT or auto FPI line
Carry out X-Ray, Ultrasonic, Fluorescent Penetrant, Eddy Current or Magnetic Particles inspection per operation sheets

Keep equipment ready for operation at all times

Assist the Engineer with inspection evaluation and reporting

Maintain process systems and testing equipment so operations continue in line with approved documents

Prepare and clean parts before and after inspection

Conduct audits in the NDT area to keep the system compliant with regulatory requirements

Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks

Requirements

Minimum GCE 'O' level with 5 years in quality inspection, or
Minimum GCE 'O' level with 2 years of NDT experience, or
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Aerospace Engineering
CAAS Approval in NDT certification preferred
Able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English
Prior NDT experience
