About the role
This role is for a Clinical Biochemistry founder at Tengah General and Community Hospital, part of the National University Health System. You will set up and lead the service, shaping its test menu, workflows, governance, quality, safety and team culture. It suits an experienced consultant who has built or significantly developed a clinical laboratory and wants to create a new service from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Hold full clinical governance and regulatory responsibility under the Healthcare Services Act and licence conditions.
- Commission and operationalise the Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory, including Laboratory Information System implementation and Point-of-care testing governance.
- Oversee and approve the evaluation of a test's performance before it is implemented.
