Contractor Supervisor Officer

About the role

You will oversee all contractors and visitors on site, making sure they follow local procedures and work according to their RAMS and other applicable policies. You will manage isolations, sign-in and sign-out, pre-start meetings, and issue compliance paperwork so contractors can work safely. You will conduct periodic inspections, report incidents and near misses, and manage small works schemes. You will also mentor the CSO team, drive operational excellence, and maintain strong relationships with the client and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Excellent customer communication skills, written and verbal
• Proven track record managing contractors and subcontractors, preferably in Hard FM commercial or industrial properties
• Relevant professional, technical, or management qualifications
• Ability to lead large teams effectively
• Confident team player who can instruct and challenge contractors
• Good knowledge of M&E building services and industry best practice
