About the role

This role focuses on presales, tenders and bids, requiring broad and deep technology knowledge to conceptualise business solutions for customers. You will work with senior technology decision makers on agility and business value, and you should have broad solution knowledge in IT and OT convergence. Prior experience designing IT solutions across cloud, systems, network and applications is essential, while familiarity with CCTV, access control and video analytics is advantageous. Experience in post-sales and delivery teams, and familiarity with project methodologies, will help you review tenders and bids.

Develop project technology strategy by understanding client objectives, diagnosing and mapping requirements, articulating solution risks and barriers, recommending project approaches, preparing time and cost estimates, and planning the full project life cycle

Prepare and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentations, and conducting proof-of-concept to showcase technical feasibility when necessary

Propose technical solutions and oversee the selection of technologies, estimating resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet customer requirements

Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solutions exist

Highlight the positive impact of solutions and how they can achieve customer business goals

Manage customer relationships by communicating architecture standards and frameworks, answering questions, and resolving concerns and issues

Actively participate in the business development lifecycle, identifying opportunities, generating proposals, and supporting other sales efforts

Increase organisation effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions for other engagements

Improve information usefulness by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Preferably at least 10 years relevant working experience including expertise in enterprise architecture consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and consensus building
5+ years total experience with a combination of technical expertise in project design, planning, installation and commissioning for end-to-end IT/OT projects
Strong analysis experience focusing on IT software and infrastructure with integration to CCTV, NVR, ACS, IDS, and gate barrier systems
Experience leading large group meetings or information gathering sessions with senior-level executives and excellent written and oral communication skills
Professional experience with n-tier application architectures development
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with ability to function at both detail and conceptual levels
